The uniqueness of purchasing this land is that it comes with an existing business known "worldwide", as "Fans Forever LLC", with the "Fans Forever Memorial Wall."

The Fans Forever Memorial Wall is designed to "Honor" the fans of Elvis, who helped make Elvis, the "Legend" he is today and in the "Memory and Respect" for Elvis  Presley.

The house is a 4 room shotgun house with 890 sq. feet of living space.

The house was built in 1928.

No Ordinary Home:

According to the city records, this house was moved from it's original location in 1942, to it's current location.

However, prior to this the shotgun hose being relocated to it's present location, the shotgun house was located next door to Vernon and Gladys Presley's house.  The house Elvis was supposedly born in, or was he?

Our Story About This Shotgun House:

We are not claiming and/or disputing any of the information about where Elvis was born.  We were not living in Tupelo, Mississippi, at the time of his birth.

Our story beings when I  pruned a tree limb with a tire swing on it.

A passer by asked ,"Why did you cut that limb down with the tire on it, didn't you know Elvis swung on that tire?"

She continued and asked,  "Why did you ruin the good sitting front porch by putting a screen around it?  Don't you know you ruined the looks of Jessie and Minnie May Presley's house"?

Wow! No, we didn't know any history about this house!

She said, "Yes, you are and that is not all!"

She continued, "Elvis was not born at the home everyone has been told.  Gladys had complications with her pregnancy and went next door and stayed with Minnie May and Jessie Presley.  Gladys gave birth to Elvis and his twin in Jessie's house, not Vernon's."

We asked, "Is there proof of this?"

The lady replied, "Two of the midwives present told the other Presley family members this.  All the Presley family members, friends, and neighbors know this."

However, when they issued the birth certificate they asked Gladys, her "home address" and this is where the mix up happened as Gladys gave them her home address instead of the physcial address of where Elvis was born," according to the lady.

So Vernon and Gladys' home address is on the birth certificate when it should actually be Jessie' address as that is where Elvis was actually born.

This is the first time we ever heard this story!

However, at the time Elvis was born, it was no big deal.  He was just another baby born to a poor family in East Tupelo.

We'd recommend that you meet and speak with  Ms. Charlene Presley, who lives across the street from this house.  Ms. Charlene's former husband was Harold Ray Presley, Elvis' cousin, and Sheriff of Lee County, Mississippi.
